This past weekend I visited the ICE exhibit at the Gaylord Opryland resort here in Nashville. The exhibit changes each year to a new theme and this year’s theme is the Grinch. Since the Grinch is one of my top 10 favorite Christmas movies, I had to see this one. I took a bunch of photos throughout the exhibit but I also videoed a walkthrough which I’m sharing today.
If you have never visited an ICE exhibit, it’s important to note that everything is made out of real ice. It is 9º inside of the exhibit and everyone is provided a special coat to wear throughout the exhibit. Which is why you will see everyone looking like blue penguins waddling around in huge coats! There is also a room that has two story ice slides in it. We didn’t try them out this time since we have visited many times before and the line this time was really long.
There are other Gaylord Hotels that have ICE exhibits during this time of the year so if you are near one, I highly suggest visiting and seeing it in person. It’s truly incredible to see so many things made out of solid ice!
