Thanksgiving is in FOUR days! November is flying by and Christmas will be here before we know it. Today I wanted to share a Thanksgiving tablescape that is easy to put together. You may even have some of these items already. If you are hosting the holiday this year and haven’t finalized your table decor I hope that this gives you some inspiration.
For a simple Thanksgiving table, purchase a ready-made centerpiece.
I love to shop for bargains, so my first choice for gorgeous decorative centerpieces is HomeGoods and TJMaxx. Hobby Lobby is also a great place to find these pieces. I always wait until they have the seasonal decor at 50% off or use a 40% off coupon if I’m purchasing one specific item.
Fall themed dishes really help to pull together the look of the table.
These pumpkin dishes, as well as the white dinner plates, are from Pottery Barn, however, I have found lots of beautiful dishes at HomeGoods this year. You could even recreate this look with decorative paper or plastic plates! Use fall colored placemats to add a pop of color to the table and set out decorative napkins along with the silverware at each setting.
Use dessert as part of the decor!
These coconut pies with their toasted meringue tops made a great addition to the fall feel of the table. These were homemade but during the holiday season, you can easily find ready-made pies and cakes to make this addition to your table even easier. Setting them on top of rustic log trivets added to the theming and adding pumpkin and leaf salt and pepper shakers provide a functional and cute addition to the table.
You can very easily duplicate this look on a budget and with very little effort.
If you use any of these ideas for your table please be sure to tag me in your photo posts on Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter so that I can see what your tablescapes look like! I hope that this post inspires your decorating.
