Since starting my blog, I have become really interested in reading other blogs that are similar to mine and discovering new ones that have topics that interest me. I used to use Google searches find blogs and I would bookmark them so that I could easily find it again when I wanted to check in to read new posts. The only problem with that was remembering which blogs belonged in which category. If I was searching for a new recipe to try I would have to click on each of the bookmarks to see which blogs were the ones with recipes and then I’d spend time searching through each blog to find the new posts that I had not yet read. Too much wasted time!
During a research session watching YouTube videos on blogging I stumbled upon a website called Bloglovin’ and let me tell you I am in LOVE! It’s like Pinterest for Blogs! You can set up a profile and curate blogs that match your interests so that you can see them all in one place. The newest blog posts show up first and you see the featured photo along with the first few lines of the post. This is going to be such a timesaver for me to check into my profile and click the posts that I am really interested in instead of having to visit each site individually only to find that they don’t have a new post up yet or that it’s not something that I want to read. It is seriously a game changer.
Along with setting up my own profile and adding my favorite blogs, I also added Happily Hopeful as a blog that can be searched for and followed. I highly recommend checking it out if you are a blogger or if you just like to read blogs, and make sure that you follow my blog there too using the link below.
If you are a blogger and your blog is part of Bloglovin’, please leave your link below in the comments below so we all can check it out!
