Hello, Blogmas day three! I’m having lots of fun with these posts. Today I’m sharing my 2018 Christmas music playlist. I had originally planned to share my top 10 favorite Christmas songs but then I started going through my favorites and realized that there was no way I could narrow it down to just 10.
When it comes to Christmas music, I’m more of a classics girl. I love the old original songs by artists like Burl Ives, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, and Andy Williams. There are a few remade versions that I like by current artists but nothing says Christmastime to me more than hearing Andy Williams sing “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”. Those classic songs are the ones that really get me in the Christmas spirit.
Although it’s really difficult to narrow down my love for Christmas music to only ten favorites I do have one song that is and will probably always be at the top of my list as my very favorite, “O Holy Night”. It really embodies exactly what the Christmas holiday is all about and I just love it. My favorite version is by Carrie Underwood, however, sadly I wasn’t able to find it on Spotify to add it to my playlist. If you get a chance, look it up online and give it a listen. I just love the musical arrangement of her version and her vocals are amazing as always.

I’d love to know if you have a favorite Christmas song. Leave it in the comments below and be sure to tell me which artists version you like best. I’ll look it up and give it a listen.
